On this day my brother was in the hospital with his final taste of chemo flowing through his body killing off the lump in his neck.
Today my brother has been three years without cancer. It is so amazing what my brother has done. He has beaten off the hands of death and is now one amazing successful person. It’s crazy how one little lump could change a someones senior year so drastacally. I think my entire family would have a different view on the world if my brother hadn’t gotten cancer. So in an odd way I thank him for having cancer and opening our eyes. If it was me instead of him I don’t think I could have done it. He is one of the bravest kids I know and that makes me respect him more than anyone else I know.
“It’s good not to have cancer.” -My brothers words about it today
So really all I am saying is, you are so wonderful Alan, and I couldn’t ask for a better brother and I am so glad you are alive and well.
